The results showed that overweight or obese people, even if they simply stood up, had lower blood sugar levels compared to sitting. 

According to research, light walking significantly lowers blood sugar levels compared to sitting or standing. 

Research has shown that walking at a pace of one and a half to two miles per hour for 20 to 30 minutes has a positive effect on blood sugar levels. 

In fact, even walking indoors or on a treadmill can lower blood sugar levels.
