Any attempt to sabotage Pakistan-China friendship and CPEC will not succeed, Chinese Foreign Ministry said.

China condemned the terrorist attack on Chinese engineers in Gwadar. 

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told a news conference that a convoy of 13 patrol engineers was targeted and no Chinese citizens were killed or injured in the attack. 

Wang Wenbin said that any attempt to sabotage Pakistan-China friendship and CPEC will not succeed, China will continue to work with Pakistan to fight the threats of terrorism. 

The spokesman said Chinese officials in Pakistan would continue to work to protect the projects and Pakistani authorities should bring the planners to justice.

It should be noted that on August 13, a convoy of Chinese nationals was attacked near Gwadar port, but security forces foiled the terrorist attack on the convoy and killed 2 attackers. 

According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, there was no loss of life in the terrorist attack, the security forces are determined to defeat any attempt by the enemies of peace and prosperity.
