6 people lost their lives and properties were completely destroyed by a fire in the forests of the US state of Hawaii

At least 6 people have died in a forest fire in Maui County in the US state of Hawaii. 

According to foreign media reports, 6 people have lost their lives due to forest fires in the state of Hawaii due to the winds caused by Hurricane Dora. 

Maui County's mayor expressed fears of more casualties, saying some properties were completely destroyed by the fires and rescue operations were ongoing. 

Due to the fire, the nearby areas have been evacuated, the migration of people will also start. 

According to the Maui County Mayor, a member of the firefighting team was also injured during the rescue operation.

Hawaii's governor says it could take months to fully assess the fire's damage, but the US Coast Guard has rescued 12 people. 

The power system in Maui County was also reportedly knocked out, with at least 29 power poles downed by the fire.
