Emirates Air announces additional flights for Eid Al Adha

About 78,000 people will travel during the holidays.


Emirates Air will operate additional flights to various countries including Pakistan, India and Bangladesh ahead of Hajj and Eid al-Adha. 

According to Emirates Daily, Emirates Air has stated that due to the increase in bookings these days due to Hajj and Umrah, it has decided to add more flights. 

Emirates has decided to operate additional Hajj flights after Saudi Arabia canceled the limited Hajj quota due to the Corona epidemic. 

Ten more flights to Jeddah will depart while the Boeing 777 is scheduled for Hajj flights until July 7. Emirates Air will continue to operate special scheduled flights. 

Emirates Air made vaccination against Corona mandatory for passengers on Hajj flights and banned people over the age of twelve from traveling. 

Apart from Jeddah, Emirates Air also has additional daily flights to Medinah Munawara. Emirates Air said bookings to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mauritius and South Africa have increased. 

Emirates Air will operate 34 additional flights to all airports in the region during Eid al-Adha. 

Emirates Air estimates around 78,000 people will travel on its flights to countries in the region during the Eid al-Adha holiday. 

Emirates Air says it has arranged additional flights to India, Pakistan, Thailand, the Philippines, the UK, France, the US, Lebanon, Jordan and Dubai as demand has increased by 20% this year compared to 2022 increased."
