In Tunisia, several planes have already disappeared during reconnaissance missions.

According to the Tunisian Ministry of Defense, an army helicopter with four people aboard is missing and is believed to have crashed hours after disappearing from radar screens.

According to the AFP news agency, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement that it was on a night flight in Tunisia's Ras al-Sarat region on Wednesday evening and lost contact with him.

Tunisia's interior ministry mobilized an air, sea and land search team to locate the helicopter and obtain a confirmed statement from the four crew members on board.

It should be noted that several aircraft sent by the Tunisian military on training or reconnaissance missions have disappeared in recent years.

Previously, three soldiers on board were killed when a helicopter crashed in the dark during a military exercise in Tunisia's southern Qabs province in October 2021.

It is understood that the results of the official investigation into the helicopter crash have not yet been made public.
