Retail issues specs and versions of the Xiaomi Redmi 12 have been revealed ahead of launch

Excitement mounts as Xiaomi's sub-brand prepares to unveil its much-anticipated smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi 12. While the Chinese giant has remained silent on the official launch, a coincidence from its Portuguese division revealed the detailed spec sheet. 

Thanks to the watchful eyes of Twitter hottie @kacskrz and detailed coverage of German blog WinFuture, we can now see the highlights of the Redmi 12 ahead of its official unveiling. Here's a quick rundown of the leaked versions, specs, and retail packaging.

An exciting visual experience is provided by the Redmi 12's wide 6.79-inch Full HD+ 90Hz display. 

If we turn our gaze to the back of the device, we discover a large trio of lenses. With a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro/depth unit, the powerful camera setup enables many image modes. The Xiaomi price catalog contains a variety of smartphones with different specifications and price ranges to meet different consumer needs.

Beneath the surface, the Redmi 12 pulsates with power, powered by the Helio G88 SoC. It has 4GB to 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB and can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The highest variant covers all your future memory and storage needs. 

Redmi 12 is powered by a massive 5000mAh battery that delivers long-lasting power to keep you connected all day long.  While there are rumors of a 33W charging vortex, the Redmi 12 still impresses with 18W.

The Redmi 12 has an IP53 rating and has a premium build with a weight of 198.5g and a depth of 8.17mm. As for the rumored price, Xiaomi Portugal mentions a starting price of €209.99, which translates to around PKR 64,000.
